2022 | Cave des Amandiers | Pet Nat Blanc

The Pet Nat from Cave des Amandiers was made with Petite Arvine and this gives a fruity wine, bursting with acidity. This nectar is refreshing, perfect for an aperitif and moments of frank camaraderie.

Producer Information

It is the desire to create great wines in exceptional terroirs, to try to best reveal the qualities of indigenous Valais grape varieties in an authentic environment and to give the wine time to grow in freshness, darkness and calm of the cellar. ​ Our farm was created in 2008, so after vinifying the first vintage in a mazot, then in a tractor garage in Fully, we found a more suitable location in the town of Saillon. We moved into this new cellar in 2011 and although the winemaking facilities are recent, the work remains essentially artisanal. Our vines are maintained manually due to the complicated topography of the steep hillsides (8.2 ha), made up of small terraces which range from 450 to 900 m. altitude. The climate is extraordinarily favorable to the vines, but in order to always guarantee impeccable quality and optimal maturity of the berries we carry out drastic sorting of the harvest. The yields are low and adapted to the vigor of each of the parcels, to ensure a good concentration of aromas and grape polyphenols.
