A distinctive semi-sweet aromatic white made from the rare Bukettraube variety, grown at Cederberg’s high-altitude vineyards. The 2022 vintage shows fragrant floral aromas alongside chamomile, white blossom, apricot, dried fruit and hints of honeydew. The palate is gently sweet and richly expressive, balanced by crisp acidity and a creamy texture. A long, clean finish gives the wine both freshness and elegance.

Cederberg Wines is part of the Nieuwoudt family’s historic Dwarsrivier farm, where the family has lived since 1893. The estate lies in the remote Cederberg mountains and is among the highest-altitude wine farms in the Western Cape, with vineyards planted at more than 1,000 metres above sea level. Wine production began in the 1970s, with David Nieuwoudt representing the fifth generation of the family. Cederberg is particularly known for championing unusual varieties such as Bukettraube alongside Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. The combination of altitude, cool continental conditions, diverse soils and exceptionally clean water is central to the character of its wines.
