      Detailed Description

The 2025 Domaine Le Galantin Bandol Rosé is a fresh, bone-dry, and structured Provençal rosé with a pale salmon-pink hue and complex citrus and stone-fruit character.

      Producer Information

Domaine Le Galantin is an esteemed family-owned estate spanning 30 hectares of steep, terraced hillside vineyards (locally called réstanques) in Le Plan du Castellet, situated within the renowned Bandol AOP of Provence, France. Founded by Achille Pascal in 1960 and producing its first vintage in 1972, the estate has been expertly managed since 1999 by his children, the sibling duo Céline Devictor and Jérôme Pascal. Benefiting from a coastal Mediterranean microclimate, the vineyard's old vines thrive on complex clay and red limestone soils, which are farmed sustainably under strict organic standards and certified High Environmental Value (Haute Valeur Environnementale). Every grape is meticulously hand-harvested to produce deeply structured, authentic regional expressions—ranging from complex whites made of Clairette and Ugni Blanc to highly sought-after, age-worthy Bandol reds and crisp rosés dominated by the Mourvèdre grape. Adhering to traditional, minimalist winemaking techniques, the estate uses only native yeasts for fermentation and ages its signature red blends in large oak casks (foudres) for up to two years, resulting in robust, earthy wines with exceptional longevity.
