Detailed Description

Booker’s The Reserves 2026 is a limited-edition straight rye whiskey created by eighth-generation master distiller Freddie Noe in tribute to his grandfather, Booker Noe. Aged for 6 years, 2 months and 23 days, the whiskey is finished in apple brandy casks and infused with cinnamon. This distinctive process draws inspiration from Booker Noe’s traditional winter A.B.C. Wassail, a family recipe associated with apples, bourbon barrels and cinnamon. Bottled uncut and unfiltered, it combines bold rye spice with baked orchard fruit, sweet caramel and warming cinnamon for a rich, autumn-inspired profile.

2026 Booker's The Reserves Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Fresh apple and apple pastry with caramel, butterscotch, toasted oak and baking spices, followed by hints of cherry and mint.

Palate: Baked apples and apple butter mingle with vanilla, caramel and bold rye spice. Cinnamon, black pepper and charred oak provide warmth, while sweet orchard fruit rounds out the intensity.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering cinnamon, apple cider, rye spice and seasoned oak, followed by subtle leather and barrel char.
