Nose: Dark berries, plum and caramel with cinnamon, clove, vanilla and a subtle old-leather character.

Palate: Rich and viscous, with caramel, burnt brown sugar, dark berries and ripe plum. Baking spices, barrel char and dark chocolate develop beneath the concentrated sweetness.

Finish: Extremely long and warming, with dark fruit, caramel, spice and dark chocolate lingering for an extended period. The cask-strength alcohol adds a powerful but well-integrated warmth.

A. Smith Bowman Distillery is a historic Virginia distillery founded by Abram Smith Bowman and his family. Originally established on the Bowman family farm, the distillery later moved to Fredericksburg, where it continues to produce Virginia-made spirits. The distillery became part of the Sazerac family in 2003 and is known for both traditional bourbon expressions and experimental limited releases. Its Abraham Bowman series has become particularly associated with innovative maturation and finishing techniques.
