A 12-year-old Aberfeldy distilled on 2 June 2014 and bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2026 as part of the Cask Strength Collection. Matured in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, cask #5, this single-cask release produced just 649 bottles and is presented at natural cask strength. The rich Oloroso maturation adds layers of dried fruit, chocolate, nuts and spice to Aberfeldy’s naturally honeyed Highland character.

Nose: Rich honey and dried fruits with raisins, orange peel, dark chocolate, toasted nuts and sweet malt.

Palate: Full and powerful, with raisin, fig and dark chocolate alongside honey, caramel, toasted almonds and warming cinnamon.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering dried fruit, cocoa, honey, nutty sweetness and gentle Oloroso oak spice.

Distillery Information

Aberfeldy Distillery was founded by John Dewar & Sons in 1896 in Highland Perthshire and remains closely associated with the Dewar’s whisky family. The distillery draws its water from the Pitilie Burn and is known for producing a rich, honeyed Highland malt that has traditionally played an important role in Dewar’s blends. Aberfeldy became part of Bacardi’s John Dewar & Sons portfolio in 1998. Signatory Vintage, founded by Andrew Symington in 1988, is one of Scotland’s leading independent bottlers, specializing in carefully selected individual casks and natural-strength releases.
