Absolut Elyx Single Estate Copper Crafted Vodka

A super-premium vodka made entirely from winter wheat grown on the single Råbelöf estate in southern Sweden. Elyx is manually distilled in a vintage copper column still dating from 1921, with the copper helping refine the spirit while contributing to its distinctive silky texture. The result is an exceptionally smooth and full-bodied vodka with rich grain, subtle nuttiness and gentle spice.

Nose: Clean and rounded, with fresh-baked bread, light cereal and white chocolate. Soft nutty notes and mellow spice develop underneath.

Palate: Full-bodied and silky, with creamy cereal, macadamia nuts and buttery fresh bread. White chocolate and delicate floral-fruit notes add richness, followed by gentle fresh nuttiness and balanced spice.

Finish: Smooth and warming, with lingering fresh nuts, creamy grain and mellow spice. Rounded, soft and exceptionally clean.

Distillery Information

The Absolut Company produces Elyx at its distillery in Åhus, southern Sweden, using winter wheat from the Råbelöf estate, whose agricultural history stretches back to the 1400s. The spirit is distilled in the manually operated 1921 copper rectification still known as Column 51. Elyx was introduced in 2010 as Absolut’s luxury handcrafted expression, with its production designed to keep the process from seed to bottle within a relatively small area around Åhus.
