Nose: This Scottish whisky has a slightly maritime aroma with hints of fresh fruits towards the end.

Palate: The palate reveals bold peaty notes laced with an omnipresent sweetness. As the blend lingers on the taste buds, it gives off notes of cantaloupe, orange zest and subtle hints of sea spray.

Finish: The Ardbeg Twenty Something 22 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky boasts of a honeyed yet peaty finish that leaves subtle trails of vanilla, herbs, and licorice mint on the lips.

Distillery Information

Ardbeg Distillery, which is situated on the southern coast of Islay, was founded in 1815 by the MacDougall family. Once the peated barley arrives at the distillery, it is milled and mashed with water sourced from Loch Uigeadail, which is situated approximately 3 miles away from the distillery.
