25-year-old Ardmore single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Xtra Old Particular collection. Distilled in May 1998 this peated whisky spent its years in a refill hogshead, yielding a total of 235 bottles.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant and delightful.

Palate: A rich, complex, and smooth taste.

Finish: Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.

Distillery Information

Ardmore was founded in 1898 as part of the late-Victorian wave of Scottish distillery openings. It was constructed by the blending company William Teacher & Sons as their first production facility. The location near Kennethmont was chosen due to its proximity to the east Highland barley fields and River Deveron.
