Arran 30 Year Old is the oldest and most prestigious official expression released by Arran Whisky, representing spirit laid down during the earliest years of production at Lochranza Distillery. Matured for three decades in a carefully selected collection of old and rare sherry hogsheads, it combines deep sherried richness with the distillery's naturally fruit-forward island character. Dried fruits, dark chocolate and warming spice develop alongside polished oak, honey and ripe orchard fruits, creating an elegant and exceptionally mature whisky. Presented in a bespoke bottle and natural wood presentation box with copper accents, this limited release is a landmark expression celebrating three decades of Arran whisky-making.

Arran 30 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Bold burnt orange, star anise and cinnamon, balanced by toasted oak and rich mature sherry-cask character.

Palate: Rich and layered, with honey, ripe orchard fruits and creamy vanilla developing alongside warming cloves and elegant mature oak.

Finish: Long, sweet and warming, with lingering toffee apple, orange zest, gentle spice and polished oak.

Distillery Information

Arran’s Lochranza Distillery was founded in 1995 at the north end of the island and helped bring whisky production back to Arran after a gap of more than 150 years. The first spirit ran on 29 June 1995, and the distillery has since become one of the best-known names among Scotland’s newer single malt producers.
