Nose: Bright orange zest and citrus peel lead into aromatic sarsaparilla, floral sweetness and soft lavender. Juniper and delicate spice sit underneath, giving the nose freshness and complexity.

Palate: Bold and vibrant, with concentrated citrus, orange peel and sarsaparilla alongside cardamom, lavender and gentle spice. The higher strength gives the botanicals greater intensity while maintaining Aviation’s smooth, balanced character.

Finish: Long and refreshing, with lingering citrus peel, juniper and soft botanical spice. A subtle floral sweetness and gentle warmth remain on the finish.

Distillery Information

Aviation American Gin originated in Portland, Oregon, and was developed around a distinctive seven-botanical recipe featuring juniper, cardamom, lavender, sarsaparilla, coriander, anise seed and orange peel. Ryan Reynolds became an investor and prominent co-owner of the brand in 2018, helping establish its distinctive modern identity. Diageo acquired Aviation in 2020, while Reynolds continued as a prominent face of the brand. The Expedition Strength expression was created specifically for global travel retail in a 1-liter format.
