The newly released 10 year old from Gordon and MacPhail's Benromach distillery. This was matured for the first nine years in 4/5 bourbon and 1/5 sherry casks before a year in sherry casks.

Benromach 10 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: Cinnamon, fruits, nuts and chocolate.

Palate: Notes of berries and dark cherries with a malty creaminess and a hint of peat.

Finish: Long and lingering, with subtle notes of fruit.

Distillery Information

Benromach is a Speyside distillery founded by Duncan McCallum and F.W. Brickman in 1898 and currently owned and run by Gordon and Macphail of Elgin. It is situated near Forres in Morayshire and is fed with spring water from the Chapelton Springs in the Romach Hills beside
