This 1990 vintage Bowmore was initially matured in refill bourbon hogsheads before an enriching finish in first-fill Oloroso sherry octaves. The result is an elegant interplay of floral smoke, sea spray and salted peach, layered with mellow cigar leaf and clove. Coastal character meets refined sherry complexity in a beautifully poised 34-year-old Islay single malt.

Bowmore was founded in 1779 by David Simson and is widely regarded as the oldest licensed distillery on Islay. Established on the shores of Loch Indaal in the village of Bowmore, it has played a central role in the island’s whisky history for more than two centuries.
