Brugal Colección Visionaria Edición 03 is a limited 2026 release created around the distinctive character of toasted coconut. The rum is aged in French oak barrels that have been toasted with fresh local coconut, allowing the wood to develop additional tropical and roasted nuances before the rum is matured within it. Bottled at 45% ABV, it combines Brugal’s elegant aged-rum character with creamy coconut, vanilla, toasted oak, and subtle spice.

Distillery Information

Brugal was founded in 1888 by Andrés Brugal Montaner and has become one of the defining rum producers of the Dominican Republic. The company is known for its double-aging approach and carefully controlled maturation in American and European oak, with production centered in the Dominican Republic. Brugal’s Colección Visionaria series was created to explore innovative cask treatments while retaining the house’s traditional rum-making foundations. Edición 03 continues that experimental approach through coconut-toasted French oak, bringing a distinctly Dominican tropical influence to the maturation process.
