Nose: Soft florals, honeysuckle, ripe orchard fruit, apple, pear, malt, and gentle cinnamon spice.

Palate: Ripe orchard fruits, honeyed malt, pear, vanilla, citrus, toasted oak, and subtle coastal salinity.

Finish: Velvety and lingering, with vanilla, stewed fruit, sweet malt, gentle oak, and fresh maritime notes.

Distillery Information

Bruichladdich Distillery was established on Islay in 1881 and has developed a reputation for combining traditional distilling with an experimental approach to barley, maturation, and production. The distillery is known for producing unpeated Bruichladdich single malt alongside its heavily peated Port Charlotte and Octomore ranges. Its Still Series originally ran from 2006 to 2008, exploring different maturation influences, while Greener Still revives the series with the emphasis shifted from cask to field. The release also reflects Bruichladdich’s long-running work with organic, biodynamic, and heritage Bere barley.
