Buffalo Trace O.F.C. Vintage 2004 is an exceptionally rare, vintage-dated Kentucky Straight Bourbon distilled in 2004 and released as part of Buffalo Trace's prestigious O.F.C. collection. The bourbon was matured for approximately two decades in new oak before being bottled at 90 proof. Its deeply mature profile layers dark cherry, dried fruit, vanilla and caramel with seasoned oak, leather and tobacco. Presented in a hand-cut crystal decanter with collectible packaging, the 2004 vintage is designed as both a remarkable sipping bourbon and a highly collectible expression.

Nose: Dark cherry, aged oak and vanilla bean with dark caramel, dried fruit, leather and subtle pipe tobacco.

Palate: Rich and silky, with toffee, butterscotch and dried cherry followed by baking spice, tobacco, dark chocolate and deeply integrated mature oak.

Finish: Long and elegant, with lingering cinnamon, leather, molasses, cocoa and seasoned oak.

Distillery Information

Buffalo Trace Distillery traces its roots through more than two centuries of Kentucky bourbon-making and occupies the historic site of the former O.F.C. Distillery. Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. christened the original O.F.C. Distillery in 1870, establishing a landmark that would eventually become today's Buffalo Trace Distillery. The O.F.C. Vintage collection pays tribute to this history, with each bottle vintage-dated according to the year its bourbon was distilled. Every release is presented in a hand-cut crystal decanter with copper lettering and a wooden display box, emphasizing its collectible character. The 2004 vintage continues this tradition with bourbon distilled in 2004 and selected after extended maturation for exceptional depth and complexity.
