Buscado Vivo o Muerto | La Verdad Chardonnay - NV

A high-altitude Chardonnay from San Pablo in the Valle de Uco, grown at around 1,400–1,500 meters above sea level on stony, calcareous alluvial soils. The wine combines bright citrus and green apple with delicate white flowers, herbs and a distinctly mineral character. Fermentation takes place partly in used French oak barrels and partly in concrete eggs, followed by extended maturation that preserves the wine’s natural freshness and acidity. The result is elegant, precise and refreshing, with a creamy texture balanced by vibrant acidity and a long mineral finish.

Buscado Vivo o Muerto is a Mendoza wine project created by winemakers Alejandro Sejanovich and Jeff Mausbach, built around the exploration of distinctive and often overlooked terroirs throughout the Valle de Uco. The project seeks to express individual vineyards through minimal-intervention winemaking and careful attention to soil, altitude and climate. La Verdad comes from San Pablo, one of the cooler high-altitude areas of the Uco Valley, where limestone-rich soils and significant day-to-night temperature variation help produce Chardonnay with pronounced freshness, concentration and mineral definition.
