A highly limited three-bottle collection created in collaboration with the Jimón López family, celebrating Mexican ceramic artistry and the family’s heritage. Each 1-liter decanter contains an Extra Añejo tequila aged for more than eight years in American whiskey barrels before receiving a distinctive European wine-cask finish. The collection comprises El Baile de los Nahuales, La Proeza del Águila, and La Luna y el Conejo, each presented in a different hand-decorated ceramic decanter.

Nose: Rich cooked agave, vanilla and caramel lead into dried fruit, toasted oak and warm baking spices. Subtle wine-cask fruitiness and roasted nuts add complexity across the three expressions.

Palate: Luxuriously rich and full-bodied, with sweet agave, caramelized sugar, vanilla and dried fruit layered with cinnamon, toasted nuts and mature oak. The individual wine finishes bring additional layers of ripe fruit and spice, ranging from Tuscan red wine to fortified Portuguese wine and Bordeaux red wine.

Finish: Exceptionally long and smooth, with lingering cooked agave, vanilla, dried fruit, warm spice and polished oak. The wine-cask influence leaves a refined fruit sweetness and gentle tannic depth.

Clase Azul México is a luxury spirits house renowned for combining premium tequila with Mexican ceramic artistry. The brand’s distinctive decanters are handcrafted and decorated by Mexican artisans, making the vessels an integral part of each limited release. The Jimón López Family collection was created around the artistic work of Fernando Jimón and María Elena López, with each decanter depicting a different story rooted in Mexican culture and symbolism. The tequila was developed under the direction of Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco, with the three expressions receiving individual European wine-cask finishes after more than eight years of maturation.
