Clase Azul Master Artisans x Ángel Ortiz Coro Silvestre is part of the fourth chapter of Clase Azul's Master Artisans collection, celebrating the ceramic traditions of Tonalá, Jalisco. The handcrafted decanter is created using the celebrated barro bruñido technique and presents Ángel Ortiz's artistic interpretation of Mexico's natural world. Inside is a limited-edition Reposado tequila developed by Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco, combining the character of cooked Blue Weber agave with refined barrel influence. Rich fruit, delicate sweetness, toasted nuts, warm oak and gentle spice create an elegant and layered sipping experience.

Nose: Cooked agave and ripe stone fruit with dried fruit, toasted almond, soft vanilla and refined oak.

Palate: Smooth and rounded, with sweet cooked agave, ripe peach and apricot, followed by gentle caramel, toasted nuts, warm oak and delicate baking spice.

Finish: Long and elegant, with lingering agave sweetness, soft stone fruit, toasted almond, polished oak and a gentle touch of spice.

Distillery Information

Clase Azul México was founded in 1997 in Guadalajara and has built an international reputation for combining premium Mexican spirits with highly distinctive handcrafted decanters. The Master Artisans collection was created to celebrate and preserve Mexico's exceptional artistic traditions through collaborations with some of the country's most respected craftspeople. The Ángel Ortiz collection represents the fourth chapter of this series and consists of three individually designed one-liter decanters: Jardín Tonalteca, Coro Silvestre and Paraíso Nocturno. Ortiz is a master of Tonalá's celebrated barro bruñido ceramic tradition, a labor-intensive technique that creates its distinctive polished surface through burnishing. Each tequila in the collection was developed by Clase Azul Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco, pairing increasingly mature expressions with Ortiz's artistic interpretation of Mexico's natural and cultural heritage. Only 100 complete three-decanter sets were released worldwide.
