The collection features three individually designed 1-liter ceramic decanters, with the artwork inspired by Mexican landscapes, flora and traditional textile patterns. The tequila itself is a young blend combining Clase Azul Plata with an eight-year-old Extra Añejo matured in American whiskey barrels and finished in Marsala wine casks.

Nose: Cooked agave and vanilla lead into honey, caramelized sugar and dried fruit, with toasted almond, citrus and delicate floral notes. Subtle oak and warm spice add depth.

Palate: Rich and silky, with sweet roasted agave, caramel, vanilla and dried apricot followed by cinnamon, nutmeg and toasted nuts. The Marsala-finished Extra Añejo component contributes additional dried-fruit richness and gentle wine-cask complexity.

Finish: Long and elegant, with lingering cooked agave, vanilla, dried fruit and warm spice. Polished oak, citrus zest and a subtle sweetness carry through the finish.

Clase Azul México is a luxury spirits house renowned for combining premium tequila with Mexican ceramic artistry. The brand’s distinctive decanters are handcrafted and decorated by Mexican artisans, making the vessels an integral part of each limited release. The Jimón López Family collection was created around the artistic work of Fernando Jimón and María Elena López, with each decanter depicting a different story rooted in Mexican culture and symbolism. The tequila was developed under the direction of Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco, with the three expressions receiving individual European wine-cask finishes after more than eight years of maturation.
