Conde de Cuba 5 Year Old is a gently matured Cuban rum with a rounder, more settled profile than the 3 Year Old. Oak ageing brings extra fruit, vanilla and spice, making it a smooth, balanced rum that still keeps the lighter, elegant style associated with Cuban rum.

Nose: Soft oak, gentle sweetness and light cane notes.

Palate: Richer and smoother than the younger bottling, with rounded sweetness, light spice and soft wood.

Finish: Long and mellow, with lingering oak and gentle sweetness.

Distillery Information

The Sevilla Distillery is located in Amancio Rodríguez in Las Tunas, Cuba, and traces its origins to 1946. The facility was renovated in 1986 and became known for producing high-quality extra-fine alcohol and Cuban rum. Production uses native Cuban sugar cane, with the distillery handling the production and bottling process locally. The Conde de Cuba brand was redesigned and launched internationally in 2017, presenting a range of Cuban rums from light Silver Dry expressions through aged releases.
