A mature 7-year-old single barrel bourbon from Southern Grace Distilleries, aged in new charred oak and bottled at cask strength. Made from an 88% corn and 12% malted barley mash bill, it delivers a rich combination of caramel, dark fruit, vanilla and seasoned oak. Each barrel develops its own character, making every release a distinctive expression of the Conviction style.

Nose: Rich caramel and vanilla with ripe cherry, dark fruit, brown sugar and seasoned oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and rich, with caramel, toffee, vanilla and cherry followed by dark chocolate, cinnamon, leather and mature oak.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering brown sugar, caramel, tobacco, baking spice and toasted oak.

Distillery Information

Southern Grace Distilleries is based in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, and operates from the historic 1929 prison complex that gives its whiskey program much of its distinctive character. The distillery produces Conviction bourbon as part of a craft-focused portfolio centered on carefully aged and finished American whiskey. Its Conviction releases explore different maturation and finishing techniques while maintaining the brand's core bourbon identity. The French Oak Finish represents one of its more distinctive experiments, using extended exposure to uncharred French oak to develop additional sweetness, spice and depth.
