Nose: Full-bodied aromas. Delightful and refreshing.
Palate: Smooth and layered with fresh citrus notes of lemon, lime, and grapefruit that go wonderfully with flavors of pink peppercorn and orange.
Finish: Smooth and juniper-forward.
Distillery Information
Dark Door Spirits, a Tampa-based craft distillery on the west coast of Florida, was founded by Matthew Allen and Brandon Marshall. The name is an allusion to "that dark door at the bottom of the stairs or at the end of the alley" for opening one of their bottles should make you a little nervous. Nervous in a good way, like "you're a little afraid, but on the other side, you're really glad you did it because you're rewarded with an experience that really gets your senses firing."
