De Kuyper Royal Distillers was founded in 1695 by Petrus De Kuyper and developed from a Dutch family business into one of the world's leading producers of cocktail liqueurs and flavored spirits. Based in Schiedam, near Rotterdam, the company built its reputation through generations of experimentation with fruits, herbs, botanicals and international flavor ingredients. Over time, De Kuyper expanded from its early genever production into liqueurs and became a major influence in modern cocktail culture. The company introduced the hugely successful Peachtree peach liqueur in 1984 and continues to develop new cocktail formats for contemporary drinking occasions.
