The flavour profile follows the established Dead Man's Fingers Spiced Rum character, combining creamy caramel and vanilla with cinnamon, nutmeg and subtly sweet orange. Unusual influences of Cornish saffron cake and Pedro Ximénez ice cream give the rum its distinctive personality, while dried fruit, tropical notes and gentle peppery spice add further complexity.

Nose: Rich vanilla and creamy caramel, followed by candied orange, warm cinnamon and nutmeg. Subtle saffron cake, dried fruit and sweet tropical notes develop underneath.

Palate: Smooth and richly spiced, with caramel, vanilla and orange leading into cinnamon and nutmeg. Raisin-like dried fruit, subtle pineapple sweetness and the brand's distinctive dessert-like character add depth.

Finish: Warm and lingering, with vanilla, sweet orange, cinnamon and nutmeg gradually fading alongside gentle caramel sweetness and a touch of black peppery spice.

Dead Man's Fingers originated at the Rum & Crab Shack in St Ives, Cornwall, where the original spiced rum was developed around an unconventional combination of Caribbean rum and local culinary influences. The brand deliberately moved away from traditional rum conventions, experimenting with ingredients such as saffron cake, Pedro Ximénez ice cream, nutmeg, vanilla and orange. Today, Dead Man's Fingers is a trading name of Halewood Sales, with the range produced under Halewood Artisanal Spirits.
