Distillery Information
Tequila Don Julio was founded by Don Julio González in Jalisco in 1942, the year he began his tequila-making journey. The brand became known for its meticulous cultivation of Blue Weber agave and careful production methods, eventually establishing Don Julio as one of Mexico's leading premium tequila producers. Don Julio 1942 takes its name from that pivotal year and has become the brand's signature luxury Añejo, produced in small batches and aged for more than two years. The Year of the Goat 2027 edition continues Don Julio's Lunar New Year collectible series, pairing the established 1942 liquid with an exclusive zodiac-inspired presentation.
