Don Julio 70th Día de los Muertos 2026 Limited Edition is a collectible presentation of Don Julio 70 Cristalino Añejo, created to celebrate Mexico's Día de los Muertos tradition. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave, the tequila is aged for approximately 18 months in American white oak before undergoing charcoal filtration, giving it the clarity of a blanco while retaining the depth of an añejo. Roasted agave, vanilla, honey, caramel and toasted oak create a rich yet remarkably smooth profile, with citrus and gentle spice adding freshness. The 2026 edition features exclusive Día de los Muertos-inspired artwork and collector packaging.

Nose: Roasted agave, vanilla and honey with caramel, citrus peel and light toasted oak.

Palate: Smooth and refined, with sweet cooked agave, vanilla cream, caramel and toasted oak supported by soft citrus and gentle baking spice.

Finish: Clean and polished, with lingering roasted agave, vanilla, honey and oak followed by a soft warming finish.

Distillery Information

Tequila Don Julio was founded by Don Julio González in Jalisco in 1942, when he began pursuing his vision of producing exceptionally refined tequila. The brand grew from his commitment to carefully cultivated Blue Weber agave and meticulous production, eventually becoming one of Mexico's most recognized premium tequila producers. Don Julio 1942 was created in tribute to the year González began his tequila-making journey and has become the brand's signature luxury Añejo. The tequila is produced in small batches and aged for at least two years, with American white oak contributing its characteristic vanilla and oak complexity. The FIFA World Cup 2026 edition extends Don Julio's collectible-bottle tradition with a trophy-inspired limited design celebrating the global tournament.
