      Detailed Description

Deep violet color with aromas of cherries and tobacco leaves with a concentrated fruity flavor typical of a classic Malbec from Argentina.

        Producer Information

Finca Flichman is an Argentine winery with heritage, founded in 1910, and is part of Sogrape Group. It has vineyards in Mendoza, Barrancas, Maipú, which is considered one of the first wine-growing areas of Argentina and in Tupungato, Valle de Uco, a region famous for high altitude vineyards and with a unique climate ideal for the production of high quality grapes. Barrancas, Maipú is considered one of the first viticultural areas in Argentina. It was one of the regions that pioneered the irrigation systems which led to the development of viticulture in the country. Finca Flichman’s Barrancas vineyard is 150 hectares in size. Situated at 2,300 feet above sea level it enjoys a warm to moderate climate lending fruity notes and ripe tannins to the wines. Soil of clay and silt on stony base from Mendoza riverbed. Tupungato, Uco Valley is an area rich in natural resources, with access to fresh water. It enjoys ideal climatic conditions for grape growing. Viticulture here has seen significant developments, enabling us to produce ripe, high-quality grapes at high altitude situated at 3,600 feet above sea level. Finca Flichman is a pioneer in this field of extreme viticulture, and employs the latest technological equipment to manage their 228 hectare estate. Soils are alluvial with diversity of minerals.
