Nose: Burnt caramel, toasted marshmallow, dark chocolate, seasoned oak, leather, and black pepper with hints of plum and smoky spice.

Palate: Massive and deeply concentrated with molasses, dark cherry, tobacco leaf, charred oak, cinnamon spice, melted fudge, and rich caramelized sugar layered over intense bourbon sweetness.

Finish: Exceptionally long and warming with lingering oak char, baking spice, dark cocoa, dried fruit, and smoky Texas heat.

Distillery Information

Garrison Brothers Distillery was founded in Hye, Texas, and became the first legal whiskey distillery in the state after Prohibition. Known for embracing the intense Texas climate, the distillery ages its bourbon under scorching conditions that accelerate barrel interaction and create unusually bold flavor concentration. Cowboy Bourbon is the brand’s flagship annual limited release, composed of hand-selected barrels chosen by founder Dan Garrison and Master Distiller Donnis Todd for exceptional depth and maturity.
