Nose: Burnt wood, gun smoke, toasted marshmallow, caramelized sugar, vanilla, and dark fruit.

Palate: Black pepper and cooking spice with plum, apricot, caramel, toasted oak, and rich brown sugar.

Finish: Long, intensely warming, and sweet, with dried stone fruit, toasted marshmallow, caramelized sugar, and lingering oak.

Distillery Information

Garrison Brothers Distillery was founded in 2006 by Dan and Nancy Garrison in Hye, Texas, becoming the first legal whiskey distillery in Texas and the first distillery outside Kentucky to produce authentic, handcrafted, corn-to-cork bourbon. The distillery makes its bourbon from Texas-grown grain, ages it in the Texas Hill Country climate, and bottles the whiskey by hand at the ranch. Cowboy Bourbon was first released in 2013 and has become one of the distillery’s signature limited expressions, with Master Distiller Donnis Todd selecting exceptional barrels for additional maturation before bottling.
