Gentleman’s Cut Player Exclusive Shacho Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

An ultra-limited 11-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon created as part of Stephen Curry’s Gentleman’s Cut Player Exclusive series. After traditional maturation, the bourbon receives a finish in rare new Japanese Mizunara oak from Hokkaido, bringing an exotic aromatic character to the mature Kentucky spirit. The mash bill is 78% corn, 13% rye and 9% malted barley, with only around 800–850 bottles produced.

Nose: Aromatic Mizunara oak brings Kyara incense and sandalwood alongside warm cinnamon, vanilla and mature caramel. Subtle coconut and toasted oak add depth.

Palate: Rich and layered, with caramel, vanilla and baking spice over a sweet corn foundation. Creamy coconut and sandalwood develop alongside distinctive exotic oak, with cinnamon providing a gentle warmth.

Finish: Long and refined, with lingering incense, sandalwood and cinnamon. Coconut, vanilla and polished oak remain with a gentle warming spice.

Gentleman’s Cut was created by Stephen Curry as a premium Kentucky whiskey brand focused on carefully aged and limited expressions. The brand’s whiskeys are distilled, aged and bottled by Game Changer Distillery in Boone County, Kentucky. Its Player Exclusive series explores exceptionally aged and specially finished bourbons, with Shacho representing its first release finished in Japanese Mizunara oak. The name “Shacho,” meaning “leader” in Japanese, reflects the release’s theme of leadership, vision and legacy.
