Bottled at 46% ABV, it presents Glen Elgin’s fresh, fruity Speyside character with a soft, creamy texture and gentle oak influence.

Nose: Fresh pear and lemon zest with orchard apples, vanilla cream and honey, followed by subtle almond, waxy malt and light peppery spice.

Palate: Silky and fruit-forward, with creamy vanilla, honey, ripe pear, apple and white peach. Fresh lemon zest lifts the palate, while gentle oak brings cinnamon and clove.

Finish: Long and elegant, with creamy vanilla, orchard fruit and lemon zest alongside pear, honey, almond and warming oak spice.

Distillery Information

Glen Elgin Distillery was founded in 1898 near Elgin in Moray by William Simpson and James Carle, with production beginning in 1900. The distillery later became part of Scottish Malt Distillers and is now owned by Diageo. Glen Elgin has traditionally supplied whisky for blending, particularly for White Horse, while its own single malt is known for a fruity, honeyed and malty Speyside character. Samaroli is a renowned independent bottler founded by Silvio Samaroli in Italy, whose selections became particularly respected for highlighting the individual character of single-cask Scotch whisky.
