This single cask expression was distilled in 2008 at Glen Garioch distillery in the Scottish Highlands. Bottled by renowned indie bottler Hunter Laing & Co., this expression was matured in a single refill hogshead for a full decade. Just 204 individually numbered bottles have been produced at a preferred strength of 46% abv. As with all the releases in the First Editions series, this single malt is free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.

Nose: Sweet with green tea, banana and cream.
Palate: Fruity with tart lemon notes and sweet malt.
Finish: Long and fruity with a drying oak note.
Distillery Information
The Glen Garioch distillery (pronounced Glen Geerie) was founded around 1797 by the Manson brothers, although many claim it was in fact Thomas Simpson. Different sources tell different stories. It is located in Oldemldrum, a small town in the Highlands famous for producing the finest barley in all of Scotland.
