Bottled at 60.2% ABV, this is a concentrated and richly textured expression showcasing the robust Speyside character of GlenAllachie.

Nose: Rich raisins, dates, dark chocolate, treacle, orange marmalade, honeyed malt, and warming baking spices.

Palate: Full-bodied and intense, with figs, raisins, dates, dark chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, orange peel, cinnamon, and toasted oak.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering dried fruits, chocolate, treacle, orange zest, cinnamon, and a gentle spicy oak dryness.

Distillery Information

GlenAllachie Distillery was founded in 1967 in the Speyside village of Aberlour and was designed by renowned distillery architect William-Delmé Evans. After changing ownership several times, the distillery was acquired in 2017 by The GlenAllachie Distillers Company, led by Billy Walker, Trisha Savage, and Graham Stevenson. Under the new ownership, GlenAllachie became increasingly recognized for its extensive approach to wood management and maturation, including the use of sherry, wine, and other specialty casks. The distillery's Speyside spirit is known for its rich, robust character and ability to develop pronounced flavors through different maturation styles.
