A highly mature 30-year-old Glenburgie selected by Andrew Symington for the prestigious Symington's Choice range. Distilled in 1995 and matured for three decades before receiving a finish in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead, the whisky combines Glenburgie's naturally fruity, fragrant spirit with rich sherry depth. Ripe figs, raisins and dark chocolate develop alongside roasted nuts, caramel and mature oak. Bottled at a concentrated 51% ABV from single cask #105, only 331 individually numbered bottles were produced.

Nose: Ripe figs and raisins, followed by dark chocolate, roasted nuts and rich dried fruit. Subtle leather, vanilla and mature oak add complexity, with a gentle sherry richness underneath.

Palate: Full and oily, with sweet caramel and toffee alongside juicy plum and dried fruit. Cinnamon, orange zest and seasoned oak introduce warming spice and a refined dryness, while the Oloroso influence brings darker chocolate and nutty richness.

Finish: Long and warming, with dry sherry notes, dark chocolate and roasted nuts. Mature oak, gentle cinnamon and a faint smoky dryness linger elegantly.

Glenburgie is a Speyside distillery with a long history dating back to the nineteenth century and is particularly associated with elegant, fruity and softly malty spirit. Its whisky has long been an important component in major Scotch blends, although well-aged single-malt releases have increasingly demonstrated the distillery's excellent potential for independent bottlings. Signatory Vintage, founded by Andrew Symington in 1988, has become one of Scotland's most respected independent bottlers, renowned for its extensive stocks of rare and mature casks. The Symington's Choice series represents some of the company's most exceptional selections, focusing on distinctive, high-quality casks chosen for their individual character.
