Distilled in 1995 and matured for three decades, this single malt was finished in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead before being bottled from single cask #201. The rich PX influence brings layers of dried fruit, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and honeyed sweetness to Glenburgie's naturally fragrant and orchard-fruit-driven spirit. Mature oak and warming spice add further depth, while the natural cask strength of 47.4% ABV preserves a concentrated yet elegant texture.

Nose: Rich dried fruits, raisins and figs, followed by honey, dark chocolate and roasted nuts. Orange peel, polished mature oak and warming sherry spice add further depth.

Palate: Full and richly textured, with dark dried fruit, honeyed sweetness and chocolate balanced by roasted nuts and mature oak. Glenburgie's elegant orchard-fruit character emerges beneath the concentrated Pedro Ximénez influence, alongside gentle cinnamon and warming spice.

Finish: Long, rich and warming, with lingering dried fruit, dark chocolate and roasted nuts. Sweet PX richness gradually gives way to polished oak, gentle spice and a refined drying finish.

Glenburgie is a Speyside distillery with a long history dating back to the nineteenth century and is particularly associated with elegant, fruity and softly malty spirit. Its whisky has long been an important component in major Scotch blends, although well-aged single-malt releases have increasingly demonstrated the distillery's excellent potential for independent bottlings. Signatory Vintage, founded by Andrew Symington in 1988, has become one of Scotland's most respected independent bottlers, renowned for its extensive stocks of rare and mature casks. The Symington's Choice series represents some of the company's most exceptional selections, focusing on distinctive, high-quality casks chosen for their individual character.
