Long ageing brings layers of ripe orchard fruit, honeyed malt, gentle spice and seasoned oak, with the distillery’s naturally fruity character developing added depth and refinement over time. Nose: Ripe peach and fresh apple, followed by dried figs, raisins, honey and orange peel. Toasted nuts, soft malt and gentle seasoned oak add an elegant mature character.

Palate: Soft honeyed malt and ripe orchard fruit develop into dried fruit and refined Amontillado sherry. Cocoa, toasted nuts, orange and polished oak provide richness, while gentle spice gives the whisky structure.

Finish: Long and refined, with dried fruit, dark cocoa and warming oak spice. Nutty Amontillado character lingers alongside mature malt and a subtle dry oak note.

Glenburgie is a Speyside distillery with a long history dating back to the nineteenth century and is particularly associated with elegant, fruity and softly malty spirit. Its whisky has long been an important component in major Scotch blends, although well-aged single-malt releases have increasingly demonstrated the distillery's excellent potential for independent bottlings. Signatory Vintage, founded by Andrew Symington in 1988, has become one of Scotland's most respected independent bottlers, renowned for its extensive stocks of rare and mature casks.
