It's made from a 1:2 mashbill of malted and unmalted Irish barley, and obviously distilled in a pot still - the whiskey wasn't distilled by Glendalough, though it was distilled to their specification by an unnamed distillery. It's matured in bourbon casks and then finished for a year in Irish virgin oak casks, made from sustainably felled 140 year old trees from the forests surrounding the distillery.
