Dark berries, stone fruit, raisins, hazelnuts, toffee, chocolate, and gentle spice define this special anniversary expression.

Nose: Highland toffee, blackberry, ripe stone fruit, raisins, toasted hazelnuts, and rich dried fruit.

Palate: Mature malt, dried fruits, nuts, creamy chocolate, caramel, ripe berries, and gentle oak spice.

Finish: Long and velvety, with dark fruit, chocolate, cocoa, toasted nuts, and subtle warming spice.

Distillery Information

The GlenDronach was founded by James Allardice in 1826 at Boynsmill Estate in the Scottish Highlands. The distillery became particularly renowned for its use of Spanish sherry casks, developing the rich, fruit-forward style associated with the house. Boynsmill House itself was central to Allardice’s hospitality and gatherings, making it a fitting namesake for the 200th Anniversary expression. Today, the distillery continues this sherry-led tradition under Master Blender Rachel Barrie, whose cask selections shape the character of its limited releases.
