A rare independently bottled 12-year-old Glenkinchie, distilled on 5 March 2014 and bottled on 6 March 2026 by Finn Thomson. Matured in a refill hogshead, the whisky retains Glenkinchie's elegant Lowland character while benefiting from an unusually active cask influence. Bright grassy freshness, green apple and honeycomb are layered with lemon zest and barley sugar, while vanilla, stewed pear and gentle toffee add extra richness. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 54.8% ABV, this is a fuller and more concentrated expression of Glenkinchie's famously delicate and approachable style.

Nose: Bright and aromatic, with freshly cut grass, green apple and honeycomb. Lemon zest and barley sugar develop alongside soft white flowers, gentle toffee and delicate vanilla.

Palate: Lively and layered, combining Glenkinchie's grassy Lowland freshness with creamy vanilla and stewed pear. Orchard fruit and cereal sweetness build across the palate, while the refill hogshead contributes gentle toffee, soft oak and additional texture.

Finish: Medium to long and refined, gradually becoming drier with soft oak tannins and lingering barley sweetness. Delicate orchard fruit, gentle vanilla and subtle oak remain as the whisky slowly fades.
