Grande Absinthe

In the late 19th century during the Belle Epoque era in Paris, the renowned Absinthe culture was at its height of infamy. Absinthe was the trademark drink of artists like Degas, Manet, Picasso, Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec and Oscar Wilde. To recall this glorious time, Grande Absente, Absinthe Originale is one of the oldest traditional Absinthe recipes from the south of France.

Finish: Very pastis-like ending with a pleasantly semi bitter finish and some anise coating.

Established in 1898, Distilleries and Domaines de Provence has inherited a tradition that goes back several millennia: collecting medicinal plants on Lure mountain, known for its wealth and abundance of plant species. Today, Distilleries & Domaines de Provence has kept this expertise alive for more than 100 years and shared it with the rest of the world, much to the delight of spirit lovers everywhere.
