Matured for nine years and bottled at exactly 100 proof, it offers a rich yet balanced profile of honey, citrus, toasted oak and baking spice. Released in limited quantities in 2026, it represents a distinctive new interpretation of the Bottled-in-Bond tradition.

Nose: Toasted oak, honey and vanilla with a subtle white-pepper note and gentle caramel sweetness.

Palate: Bright and rich, with honey and citrus oil followed by caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and delicate rye spice.

Finish: Long and warming, with rich caramel, baking spices, honey and lingering toasted oak.

Distillery Information

Heaven Hill Distillery was founded by the Shapira family in Bardstown, Kentucky, in 1935 and remains one of America's largest family-owned and operated spirits companies. The distillery released its original Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon in 1939, establishing a long-standing connection with the Bottled-in-Bond tradition. Heaven Hill has since become one of the leading producers of Bottled-in-Bond American whiskey, maintaining a broad portfolio of bonded expressions. Double Mash builds on that heritage by combining Heaven Hill's traditional bourbon mashbill with its wheated bourbon mashbill in a single Bottled-in-Bond expression. The result is a 2026 release that pairs traditional bourbon structure with the softer character of wheat.
