The 2026 Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon is the third edition of the Traditional Series and part of Heaven Hill's 2026 “Year of Wheat.” Distilled in 2019 and aged for six years in #3 char barrels, it uses a distinctive 52% corn, 35% wheat and 13% malted barley mashbill. The corn comes from the Beck's 6269 seed varietal, grown by Peterson Farms in Nelson County, Kentucky. Bottled non-chill filtered at barrel proof, it delivers a rich, soft and grain-forward character with considerable depth.

Nose: Sweet corn, soft wheat, vanilla and toasted oak with honey, caramel and gentle baking spice.

Palate: Rich and rounded, with honey, caramel and vanilla alongside sweet wheat, toasted nuts, brown sugar and seasoned oak.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering caramel, vanilla, honey and toasted oak followed by gentle cinnamon and baking spice.

Distillery Information

Heaven Hill Distillery was founded by the Shapira family in Bardstown, Kentucky, in 1935 and remains one of America's largest family-owned and operated spirits companies. The distillery released its original Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon in 1939, establishing a long-standing connection with the Bottled-in-Bond tradition. Heaven Hill has since become one of the leading producers of Bottled-in-Bond American whiskey, maintaining a broad portfolio of bonded expressions. Double Mash builds on that heritage by combining Heaven Hill's traditional bourbon mashbill with its wheated bourbon mashbill in a single Bottled-in-Bond expression. The result is a 2026 release that pairs traditional bourbon structure with the softer character of wheat.
