The sherry influence adds layers of dried fruit and sweetness to the naturally bold, peppery character of rye, creating a rich and refined whiskey with a distinctive balance between fruit, oak and spice.

Nose: Rich dark fruit, toasted grain and oak, followed by dried figs, sherry sweetness and warm baking spice.

Palate: Bold rye spice balanced by dried fruit, honey, caramel and vanilla, with roasted nuts and a subtle nutty sherry character.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering dried fruit, oak, leather, nutmeg and a delicate peppery spice.

Heaven’s Door is a collection of American whiskeys co-created with legendary musician and artist Bob Dylan, combining whiskey craftsmanship with Dylan’s artistic vision. The brand was created to explore distinctive American whiskey styles, special barrel finishes and rare expressions. Heaven’s Door works with experienced distilling and blending partners, while continuing to develop its own distillery campus in Pleasureville, Kentucky. The Exploration Series represents the brand’s experimental side, using unusual cask finishes and wood treatments to create distinctive limited releases.
