Nose: Toasted oak, honey, vanilla, candied fruit, brown sugar, caramel, light char, and gentle baking spice.

Palate: Rich caramel, honey, vanilla, candied cherry, toasted oak, brown sugar, butterscotch, baking spice, and subtle dark chocolate.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering brown sugar, toasted oak, vanilla, caramel, gentle pepper, and light char.

Distillery Information

Jack Daniel Distillery was officially registered in 1866 in Lynchburg, Tennessee, making it the first registered distillery in the United States. The distillery became famous for its charcoal-mellowing process and distinctive Tennessee Whiskey style, with Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 eventually becoming one of the world's most recognisable American whiskeys. Its cooperage is also central to the brand, with Jack Daniel's producing its own American white-oak barrels. The Heritage Barrel expression revives an older barrel-making approach by heavily toasting the wood before applying a lighter char, reflecting techniques associated with the distillery's earliest cooperage traditions.
