Nose: The whiskey is described as having aromas of caramel corn, black cherry, prune Danish, coupled with baking spices, clove, vanilla bean, and pipe tobacco fragrance.

Palate: The palate bursts with flavors of caramel corn, black cherry, prune Danish, and a load of baking spices such as nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, and vanilla bean. A fragrance of pipe tobacco adds to the complexity.

Finish: Long, warming finish.

Distillery Information

About 100 Years ago, Jacob and Abner Taub crafted and bootlegged their own whiskey during Prohibition. Then one fateful winter night in 1929 there was a sting that would land the brothers behind bars. Six long years later, Franklin D. Roosevelt pardoned the Taub brothers.
