The result is an intense, characterful dram featuring dark berries, savoury depth, roasted notes, and warming spice. Bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration or added colouring, it showcases the interplay between peat smoke and sophisticated red wine cask influence.

Nose: Sweet peat smoke, charred barbecue, blackcurrant, stewed plums, and dark cherries, accompanied by orange zest, polished leather, and cracked black pepper.

Palate: Rich and oily, with smoked meats, roasted beef, and red wine jus alongside blackberries, dark cherries, and espresso-like cocoa. Warming pepper, charred oak, and drying wine tannins add complexity, while creamy vanilla balances the intense smoky character.

Finish: Long, smoky, and savoury, with lingering dark berries, charred oak, cracked pepper, dark chocolate, and a persistent trace of earthy peat ash.
