A 15-year-old single-cask Knockando distilled in 2010 and bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2026 as part of the Cask Strength Collection. Cask #6 was matured with a 1st-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead finish, yielding a highly limited release of 343 bottles at natural cask strength. The sherry influence adds rich dried-fruit and nutty depth to Knockando’s naturally elegant, orchard-fruit-driven Speyside character.

Nose: Ripe pear, baked apple and honeyed malt with raisins, orange peel, vanilla and toasted nuts.

Palate: Rich and creamy, with Oloroso-driven dried fruits, caramel and dark chocolate alongside orchard fruit, malt, cinnamon and gentle oak spice.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering raisin, orange zest, honeyed malt, toasted nuts and soft sherry spice.

Distillery Information

Knockando Distillery was founded in 1898 on the banks of the River Spey in Moray and is known for producing an elegant, delicate style of Speyside single malt. The distillery has traditionally focused on carefully controlled seasonal production, with its whiskies prized for their clean, fruity and honeyed character. Knockando is part of Diageo’s portfolio and has historically supplied malt for blending as well as its own age-stated single malt releases. Signatory Vintage is one of Scotland’s leading independent bottlers, founded in 1988, with its Cask Strength Collection dedicated to carefully selected individual casks presented at natural strength.
