The whisky is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, offering a balanced profile of honey, citrus, fresh fruit, malt and subtle nuttiness.

Nose: Grassy and gently floral, with apple blossom, fresh citrus, honey, orchard fruit and soft malt.

Palate: Sweet and rounded, with honey, pear, green apple and citrus alongside light spice, grassy notes and a pleasing nuttiness from the sherry cask.

Finish: Long and dry, with lingering orchard fruit, citrus peel, honey and gentle sherry spice.

Distillery Information

Linkwood Distillery was established in 1821 near Elgin in Speyside, with the present distillery dating from 1871. It is known for producing an elegant, silky and fruit-forward spirit characterized by orchard fruits, floral notes and a clean malt profile. Much of Linkwood’s whisky has historically been used in blends, making independent bottlings an important way to experience the distillery’s character on its own. Adelphi is a respected Scottish independent bottler known for strict cask selection, with its modern whisky operations focused on carefully chosen single malts and limited releases.
