Indie bottlers Living Souls and Little Brown Dog joined forces for this collaborative release. It's a blended Scotch combining 1978 and 1979 vintage grain from Cambus and Carsebridge with 1978 vintage Glen Garioch, and bottled at a mighty 46 years old.

Nose: Tinned lychee, pink grapefruit, cream soda, fudge, banoffee pie, vanilla, and hints of an old antique shop.

Palate: Ripe peach, blueberry panna cotta, candy floss, tropical fruit, pineapple, vanilla cream, caramel, and a very gentle wisp of smoke.

Finish: Long and balanced, with sherbet sweetness, rooibos tea, soft fruit, vanilla, and delicate oak.

Distillery Information

Little Brown Dog Spirits is an independent Scottish bottler and micro-distillery founded in 2018 by Andrew Smith and Chris Reid in rural Aberdeenshire. The company is known for single-cask releases, transparent sourcing, and playful but highly individual whisky selections. Living Souls is a smaller independent bottling operation specialising in distinctive single casks, particularly whiskies connected with central Scotland. This collaboration brings together the two bottlers' regional connections: Glen Garioch from Little Brown Dog's Aberdeenshire surroundings and historic Cambus and Carsebridge grain from Living Souls' central-Scotland territory. The result is a genuinely limited piece of whisky history, combining stock from two silent distilleries with a mature Glen Garioch malt.
